Straight Stair Chairs

Stairs that have a flat landing or turns will require a curved stair chair. Operation Independence has installed curved stair chairs on a variety of staircase styles, including a spiral staircase spanning 4 stories! Costs vary depending on complexity, but typically start at $8,000. We are an authorized vendor of Sterling Stairlifts and would be happy to advise you on the many applications of stair chairs. Stair chairs can also be installed outdoors or on porch steps and in garages. We can also make modifications such as moving stair rails, adjusting steps, widening doorways and lowering thresholds to maximize access to your home and stair chair.
